1. The App
Nomi creates calorie and macro goals, estimates nutrition from meal photos, and lets you log food, water and weight.
2. Not medical advice
Nutrition and AI results are estimates and can be wrong. Nomi is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent a condition. Consult a doctor or registered dietitian before significant dietary changes.
3. Accounts and age
You use Sign in with Apple and are responsible for account activity. You must be at least 13, or older where local law requires. A parent or guardian must permit use by a minor. Teen accounts receive maintenance-only plans without weight-loss targets.
4. Free scans, Pro and scan packs
New accounts receive 3 AI scans. Free to download. Optional Nomi Pro unlocks AI scans. Local pricing and any trial are shown in the App Store before purchase. Pro is an automatically renewing subscription managed by Apple and includes AI scans subject to fair use. Scan packs are one-time purchases that do not expire.
5. Renewal, cancellation and refunds
Apple charges your Apple ID at confirmation or after an eligible trial and renews subscriptions unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in Apple ID Settings. Deleting a Nomi account does not cancel a subscription. Apple decides refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com.
6. Your content and privacy
You own your photos and logs and permit us to process them only to provide and improve Nomi under the Privacy Policy. Nomi has no public feed or messaging. Review AI estimates before logging.
7. Acceptable use
Do not break, overload, reverse-engineer, automate access to, evade limits or security, or submit unlawful content. We may limit or suspend misuse.
8. Intellectual property and Apple
Nomi’s software, design, mascot and original content belong to us and are licensed for personal, non-commercial use. Open Food Facts data uses its applicable license. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application EULA also applies to App Store downloads.
9. Availability and termination
We may change, suspend or discontinue features and update these terms. You may stop using Nomi and delete your account. We may suspend access for serious or repeated violations.
10. Disclaimer and liability
Nomi is provided as is and as available. To the extent law permits, we disclaim warranties including nutrition accuracy and liability for indirect or consequential damages or decisions based on estimates. Total liability is limited to what you paid in the 12 months before a claim. Non-waivable consumer rights remain.
